Visit No.197 Chiswick Fire Station

When it comes to East London I know where I’m at. This is my stomping ground. My familiar. But West London? Apart from Richmond and Notting Hill I tend to feel I’m in over my head, and I’m usually quite quick when agreeing to meet my West London friends at their given coffee shop and restaurant suggestions. But this has now changed, ever since discovering a West London destination that feels like home - No.197 on Chiswick High Road.

No.197 is a home-from-home restaurant and bar housed in Chiswick’s original fire station. It’s got all the relaxed vibes I look for when seeking out somewhere to re-charge my caffeine levels and catch up on work. The interiors are on-point, and so is the fine-tuned and curated food menu.
